Our Last Week of Fourth Grade!

It is hard to believe we are at the end of the road on our California Adventure. It has been an amazing year full of learning and excitement. Thank you for your help and support throughout the year. You have made my first year at Manchester terrific! 

This week will be a busy week, like most weeks! On Monday, we will make a portfolio to bring home all of our work that is displayed on the classroom walls. I have not been able to bring myself to take down the wonderful work on the walls. I hate the empty feeling it brings to the room. On Monday we will take it down, pack it up, and bring it home. Tuesday will be the Fourth Grade Awards Assembly at 9:30. I am pleased to say that everyone is our class has earned an award. On Tuesday, we will also have a Board Game Day. Students can bring board games from home to play with friends in class. They may also bring snacks to enjoy while they are playing. Wednesday will be Primary Play Day. This is a school-wide event, where student complete in a variety of activities. We will sign up for activities on Monday and Tuesday in class. On Thursday we will head to Oso de Oro Park for our Fourth Grade Celebration. With 165 students attending, this is sure to be a fun-filled exciting day! Friday is our last day of school with dismissal at 12:00. Our schedule will be adjusted to have lunch at 11:05 and buses will run as normal (just a lot earlier). 

Thank you for making this a memorable year. You hold a special place in my heart, as my first class at Manchester.
