Writing Sample Date Change

We will be taking the district writing sample on Wednesday. Many students have told me they are not going to be at school on Thursday or Friday this week. I know many families are busy with graduates all over the state.

Our writing sample will be a Response to Literature. Students will need to summarize, make a judgment (character traits, theme, or lesson taught in the literature), and a connection. We have practice this so much throughout the year in our reading journals and in preparing for the state test.
